As an annual tradition, the Family Business Conference is our flagship event for the year. The Conference provides the ideal opportunity to discuss the common issues and challenges facing family businesses in a discreet yet inclusive setting, surrounded by our peers as well as industry experts.

Paul J. Fribourg is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Grain Company, an international agribusiness and investment company. Prior to assuming the current role, he held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility—from Merchandiser and Product Line Manager to Group President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Fribourg has served as the Lead Independent Director of Loews Corporation, a Board Member of The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc., a Board Member of Restaurant Brands International Inc. and a Board Member of Apollo Global Management, LLC.  He is also a Board Member and Member of the Executive Committee of Castleton Commodities International LLC.  In addition, he is a Member of the Rabobank International North American Agribusiness Advisory, the NYU Mitchell Jacobson Leadership Program in Law and Business Advisory Board and Endeavor Global Inc.  He is also a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for The Mayor of Shanghai.  

Mr. Fribourg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard’s Business School.


The Club, which has over 200 members, is an active and growing organization, with really interesting students from a diverse array of industries and nationalities. The Conference is an important event in our calendar and will provide a unique opportunity to hear amazing speakers, engage in interesting panels and to network.  

Food and beverages will be served throughout the day, and we will also host an evening open bar reception!
